Conservation volunteers

What is it about?

Take the opportunity to help protect the environment and visit some amazing locations at the same time. Get involved in one of the many valuable conservation projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.

What will I be doing?

CVA offers opportunities in a broad range of locations, with more projects becoming available all the time. Do your bit to help build a sustainable future for the planet, starting here, in our own backyard.

Examples of projects include:
• Penguin Protection at Phillip Island, Australia
• Arnhem Land Marine Debris project, Australia
• Tree planting in the Adelaide Hills, Australia
• Rock Wallaby surveys in the Flinders Ranges, Australia
• Boardwalk reconstruction along the Great Ocean Road, Australia
• River restoration around Hamilton, NZ
• Track maintenance in the Waitakere Ranges, NZ

All projects involve you working alongside local people and helping to protect, preserve and restore their environment.
