'Three of the Best'

This three-stop trip takes you to the major backpacking gateways for exciting travel opportunities galore…

Read from people who have been there in our STA Travel Blogs:

Auckland - "New Zealand is a fantastic, beautiful place with so much to do you definatly need more than 3 weeks to see it... The cave system out there is amazing and a must if you're an adrenalin junkie as is the canoeing in Auckland... Also don't miss all the thermal activity and mud pools at Rotorua, fantastic to see, and relaxing in a mud pool after all the trekking certainly sorts your bones out!"

- Ellise in Auckland, Jan 2007

Los Angeles - "We went to Santa Monica beach on our second day in LA. It was a really lovely stretch of Golden Sands. We sunbathed for a while and then walked down to Venice beach. There were so many people cycling, roller blading and skateboarding down the front. I nearly got run over by a granny on roller blades!

- Neil & Libby in LA, Aug 2007

Hong Kong - "Victoria peak was a short tram ride up the hill behind Hong Kong city with a view that we knew was promising. By the time we'd queued the sun had set and we headed up into the darkness. All the pictures and things we'd heard about the peak didn't prepare us in the slightest for the view... It was absalutely amazing! And def the best view either of us have ever seen..."

- Ryan & Byrn in Hong Kong, Jul 2007
