The 10 week New Zealand ski and snowboard instructor program involves training at one of two destinations; either Queenstown (Coronet Peak or The Remarkables resorts) or Wanaka (Cardrona ski resort). Snow Trainers NZ provide 10-week learn to ski and snowboard programs based in Queenstown and Wanaka, New Zealand.
10 week Snowboard / Ski Instructor course:
What does it include?
- 10-week snowboard / ski instructor course based in Queenstown or Wanaka, NZ
- Professional training at either Coronet Peak / The Remarkables (Queenstown ski course) or Cardrona ski areas (Wanaka ski course)
- 10 weeks' accommodation in central Queenstown or Wanaka: shared room basis incl. kitchen facilities
- Season Passes for Coronet Peak / The Remarkables or Cardrona ski fields
- Mountain Transport to the ski area every day of the week so you can ski and snowboard on your days off
- Heli ski Trip – an experience not to be missed!
- 2 day Backcountry course incl. avalanche rescue training

Who runs it?
Snow Trainers NZ aim to develop the skills necessary for you to successfully achieve the New Zealand C.S.I. and Stage One Instructor Qualifications, all the while having a great time in Queenstown or Wanaka! The New Zealand Stage One Qualification is a world recognised qualification which allows you to instruct to an intermediate level in countries such as Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan and the USA.
Am I eligible?
You need to be at least 18 years old and an intermediate skier or snowboard rider who is comfortable linking turns on intermediate trails... Leave the rest to the professionals!
