What is it about?
The most rewarding and effective way to learn a language is to live and study among those who speak it.
STA Travel works with dozens of schools worldwide to offer New Zealanders the opportunity to study languages all around the world. Programmes offer tuition, accommodation, meal options, sporting and cultural activities.
What will I be doing?
You can choose to study Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese at our partner schools in over 22 countries and over 60 locations worldwide. Each school offers course from beginners to advanced that are in line with the academic standards of the respective country. Grammar is taught with the aid of textbooks, while conversation classes help beginners to communicate in everyday situations. Current political, social and cultural subjects of the host country are integrated into the more advanced courses and participants are encouraged to select discussion topics according to their interests.

Who runs it?
STA Travel Global Languages has operated a very successful, specialised language centre for over 18 years.
Am I eligible?
STA Travel Global Languages students must be at least 18 years of age.
