STA Travel will help make your Big OE preparations hassle free with this easy to follow table of Visa requirements.
We have sussed out all the important information you will need to know about Working Holiday Visas, including age limits, visa validity, work restrictions, processing time and insurance.
Below you will find Working Holiday Visa information for 6 of the top OE destinations in North and South America.
New Zealand has a reciprocal working holiday agreement with Canada, which means you can live and work in the land of the maple leaf for up to two years. The initial visa is just for 12 months but there are options to apply for the second year when you are in Canada.
The United States do not issue working holiday visas, however STA Travel offer a number of programmes which will allow you to work in the USA such as Summer Camp USA, Work USA* (extendable to 12months) and Work USA Unlimited**.
Whilst the countries in South America below do have a reciprocal work programme with New Zealand, most ‘work’ options for travellers in Central and South America are of a volunteer nature.
Please bear in mind that visa requirements can change from time to time. You will need to obtain complete and up-to-date information from your STA Travel Adviser before making your work or travel plans.
