You have to decide whether you are ‘most people' or a traveller. Feejee Experience was developed to cater for thosewanting to escape the glossy postcard island scenes widely published in mainstream travel brochures. If you are bothering to read this, we believe you are not a mainstream tourist and that's great because Feejee Experience is not a mainstream operation.

Now, if all this sounds a little too serious, we should add that travelling with Feejee Experience around the main Fijian island of Viti Levu is more fun than a clean pair of Y-fronts! Each trip has activities included in the price of the pass, such as a three hour beach stop at Natadola (arguably Fiji's best beach); sand-boarding down dunes in Sigatoka; a 3 hour jungle trek ; river tubing;a long boat ride; bilibili rafting; and a trek to natural Fijian hot pools.

We know that Fiji is more than just beautiful beaches, and party islands. Sure Feejee Experience can take you to these places, but they'll also show you the beauty of the real Fiji and it's people, culture, environment and tradition.

Feejee Experience complements the products already on offer in New Zealand and Australia and they have chosen a tough, ‘off the beaten track' route around Fiji, that's for sure. The route around Viti Levu (mainland Fiji), has been designed for you, the adventure-minded traveller wanting a more invigorating and challenging experience. It has been set up to help you experience all that this incredible country has to offer. The hope is you will return home with a greater knowledge and understanding of the Pacific community, as opposed to returning with just a suntan to impress your mates.

Feejee Experience have spent many hours travelling around the island: visiting every accommodation abode, testing every activity, drinking in every bar and meeting with the locals to ensure that you are offered the best options available and under the correct Fijian protocol. They would like to say it has been really hard work, but in truth it has just been a heck of a lot of fun!

One of the best parts of the jobs at Oz, Kiwi and Feejee Experience is watching small communities benefit from the business and seeing you experience a real chunk of Oz / Kiwi and Fijian life.

Things are a little different in Fiji. You will be travelling to places where villagers rarely see a traveller. When you stop at local fruit markets to buy produce, you are supporting a community that is often poverty stricken (from our westernised perspective), and the look of appreciation from the people is indescribable. You also take time to stop at local high schools for a game of soccer and deliver stationary to them on a weekly basis. Often the students have never ventured out of their small village and their interaction with you is priceless. The schools are also building bures to house any qualified teachers on the bus who would like to stay for a few days and assist in furthering the education of their students. This only skims the surface of the contribution you could make to Fijian society - you'll soon realise that the possibilities are numerous.

The bottom line is that this is not only an amazing experience for you - it is also contributing to isolated communities and Feejee Experience rate that as one of the best parts of the job.
