What is it about?
If you are heading to the UK and are travelling independently for the first time, Work Britain was designed for you! Along with our friends IEP we have put together a support package, which will take all the doubt and hard work out of your first independent overseas experience. What will I be doing?
The choice is yours! You can work wherever you want in the UK (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) and do whatever you wish (some restrictions apply). Popular jobs include hospitality, retail, temp office work and career related jobs. The UK is yours to explore, so head out and discover the seaside resorts in the summer, the National Parks and the cities and towns outside of London.

Who runs it?
International Exchange Programs (IEP) is a non-profit organisation specialising in sending young New Zealanders overseas on working holidays. Along with their parent organisation, BUNAC, they are there to assist you before you leave home and while you are working and travelling overseas.
Am I eligible?
You must:
- Be 18 –30
- Hold a New Zealand Passport valid for at least two years from your departure date
- Show proof of finds of minimum $4000
- Have never had a UK Working Holiday visa before
Alternatively, if your parent or grandparent was born in the UK then you may be eligible for an Ancestry visa.
