Live like a Local
One of the best ways to make money while you travel across Australia. It's ideal for students who want to keep moving.
You'll have a blast while working and you KNOW you'll have stories to share with your friends back home. Bartending is just a fun way to be able to pay for your travels across Oz.
Ready to Serve?
There's no better way to meet and interact with the locals than tending bar at the corner pub. Drinking is part of the Australian lifestyle, but Aussies take their alcohol seriously.
To work around alcohol in New South Wales (where Sydney is) you must take and pass a course in responsible alcohol service. Outside of New South Wales, this certification is not required, but having it will definitely give you an edge over the competition when you are on the job hunt.
No Experience? Classes will make it legal for you to serve alcohol, take you through a two-day bartender “boot camp,” plus a responsible gaming services course that will soon be required to work at any casino in the country.
Have Skills? The certifications are available à la carte. Pick and choose the courses you need to make yourself the best candidate for the job. Want to be a barista or a server instead? 1-day classes are available for those skills too.
