Learn to work a cattle station in the Australian Outback! You'll be part of a team the second you arrive.
No experience required. Students looking to use their current skills in a new setting or try this for the first time are perfect. Just need a willingness to learn and grow.
Enjoy wide open spaces, riding horses during the day and falling asleep beneath an open sky! More importantly, enjoy knowing that the second you arrive, your presence is necessary to help run the cattle station. Everybody relies heavily on each other, and everybody works hard from sunrise to sunset.
Week-long training:
Expect evenings at the fire and sleeping in swags on the ground. At the end of your week of ranch “boot camp,” you'll have help finding a job on a station. Placements usually include room and board plus ample pocket money to travel with later.
