An oasis in the outback

A lovely place to relax in individual chalets after days on the outback tours. All facilities were good, clean and comfortable. TV, though not a wide selection of channels. Good pool. Good microwave self catering. Laundry facilities. Small shop selection, no cafe/bar.

The cheapest accomodation and great value for money.

Alice springs is fantastic with access to Red Centre Tours. The two day trip takes in Kings Canyon and Uluru. Alice springs is as remote as you can get with great cultural art. I recommend the Alice Springs Reptile Centre. This was a chance to get up close to some of the deadliest snakes in australia.
I must mention the weather, red hot in the summer and more acceptable in the winter, however still hot hot hot. Enjoy.

Pick-ups for pre-organised day tours were punctual. Good dining facilities fairly close by-- easy walking distance.

We weren't there long, but enjoyed relaxing by the pool and a short walk into town for dinner.
