A nice little hostel with extremely friendly staff. The only downside of this hostel was that its location was slightly out of the way, however its not hard to jump on the subway for a few minutes. Rooms were certainly not palacial but had all the facilities required, were clean and quiet.

The staff were amazingly friendly and always willing to go further than you would expect of someone on a desk. They were more like second hand holiday friends than workers. The location was a 5 minute walk from a fairly popular train line that could get you to most of the main sights tourists would like. The people (of course this changes every week) were so nice. You could start a conversation with someone and end up going to a karaoke bar in the same night. Its one of the most easy going places you could stay at! Tokyo isn't about staying in though, so paying less here means you can pay more somewhere else. Unless you like swimming pools and massages on demand don't go here, but if you mainly want a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and decent rooms then this is your option. Even if you do like swimming pools and massages, you could go to one of the onsens in Tokyo and get it for fairly cheap. I can't speak highly enough of this place!

The room was comfortable, with our own TV and DVD player and we could borrow DVDs free from reception. There was a kitchen, so we were able to cook our own food, helping keep the costs down, though this wasn't particularly well equipped and was not often that clean. Free internet in the lobby was very useful and the staff on reception were always very friendly and helpful with our questions. I would stay there again if I return to Tokyo.

We landed in Toyko really late and didn't manage to get to the Hostel until midnight. The receptionist stayed up to greet us, the reception usually shuts at 11:00!). Really friendly people, you could borrow DVD - all rooms had a DVD player and they had free internet access. This was an all-round excellent place to stay
