Studying in Canada is a wonderful opportunity for students to further their tertiary education while travelling overseas.
Australians have the opportunity to live in Canada and undertake long or short-term academic study at a range of exceptional educational institutions!
What will I be doing?
Whether you are interested in a summer, a term, an academic year, a diploma, or a degree, there is a "Study in Canada" option to suit you!
Canadian Educational Institutions at all levels meet high standards and are recognised worldwide. As a result, the international students who study in Canada may enjoy successful and prosperous careers.
Canadian Education Centre (CEC) will assist you with all the hard stuff, like contacting universities and finding out which universities offer the course that best suits you!
A full range of tertiary level courses are available. Details of specific courses should be obtained from the educational institution at which the student is interested in studying.
What does it cost?
Canadian universities charge lower tuition rates for international students than their counterparts in competing countries - so that's fantastic news for you guys! But obviously tuition fees make up only part of the total expenses. The cost of this program starts from $12,000 for one academic year.
Who runs it?
STA Travel work with CEC, which is a Division of the Canadian Consulate. CEC can provide travellers with all the required information and advice about studying in Canada.
Am I eligible?
This will vary depending upon the course and educational institution selected. Details will be supplied by the individual universities upon enquiry.
Language requirements:
You do not have to speak both French and English to study at a Canadian university, but you will have to show proficiency in one depending on the university you apply to. Most English universities require a TEFL score of 560 or better. Canadian-French universities usually assess applicants on a case-by-case basis.
