Our expeditions, tours and trips to Antarctica run from November to March when the weather is milder; however, temperatures will still generally be below freezing. Depending on the month you visit, there will be slight differences in scenery and wildlife, but all are sure to be equally as mesmerizing. November sees the ice break into incredible icebergs, whilst December and January have longer hours of daylight and an exciting amount of penguin, seal and avian activity. Whereas February and March are the months to descend on this frozen landscape if you’re looking to witness the presence of the majestic whales. Mother Nature does, of course, take matters into her own hands, making a stunning spectacle of ice, water and wildlife a guarantee.
