Managing your STA Travel Money Card and topping up your money is quick and safe and can be done in five easy ways - online, text, phone, BPAY or in-store.

To manage your money online it’s as easy as logging in to your online account!


From there you can:

• Check your balance
• Transfer money between cards
• Top-up your account via debit/credit card or BPAY*
• Report your card as lost or stolen and much more!

In Store

Visit any STA Travel store in Australia and instantly load money onto your card. Simply present your STA Travel Money Card to an STA Travel Expert who will be happy to help you out. A 1% load fee applies.*


You can top-up your STA Travel Money Card with BPAY, just like paying your bills! First, log in to your online account to retrieve your unique customer reference number. Then log in to your usual online, mobile or phone banking account and enter our BPAY biller code along with your customer reference number. A 1% load fee applies.*

Use your mobile phone from anywhere in the world to manage your account by SMS. 


To access the SMS service, make sure you: 

• Register your mobile number with us when you activate your card 
• Refer to the table below and text any of the following codes with the last 4 digits of your card number to 199 11 234 within Australia (25 cents per message sent), or +61 418 200 332 from elsewhere in the world
